DARLINGTON — Charles E. Endicott, 86, of Rt. 1, Darlington, died at 11:40 a.m. Thursday in Culver Hospital. He was a retired farmer. A native of the Bowers neighborhood, he was a son of James and Mary Black Endicott and was born Oct. 10, 1882. He was educated in the Montgomery County schools. Mr. Endicott was married in Crawfordsville Sept. 26, 1906 to Osaetta Killen, who died in 1936. He was next married for 12 years to Vera Fagen, who also preceded him in death. On Dec. 26, 1951 he was wed to Mary Alice Pike Coddington in Crawfordsville. She died Aug. 11, 1967. Surviving are a son, William Endicott of Brooklyn, Wis.; two daughters, Mrs. Ray Fifer of Linden and Mrs. Clarence Friend of Lafayette; a brother, Homer Endicott of Darlington, and 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Two brothers and two sisters are deceased. Funeral rites are at 3 p.m. Sunday at Bright Funeral Home in Darlington. Rev. Willard H. Eckroth of the Darlington Christian Church will officiate, and burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. today.--waw
